Dr Haza Star graduated from the University of Sulaymaniyah in 2004. She subsequently completed a Master of Dental Science degree in Belgium in 2009 and was awarded a PhD in Orthodontics from King's College London in 2017.
Following her postgraduate training, Dr Star moved to Scotland to undertake her vocational training. She then worked as a general dentist for over four years before relocating to England, where she practised as an associate dentist in Suffolk and Norwich. She then joined Poringland Dental Practice in 2023 and is now moving on to take up ownership of Penny Wiles Dental Practice.
Dr Star has a strong interest in all aspects of dentistry, with particular emphasis on preventative and restorative care. Her professional philosophy centres on the prevention of dental disease rather than its treatment.
Dr Star is recognised for her professional, calm, and approachable manner, which helps ensure patients feel comfortable and reassured throughout their dental care.
Outside of work, Dr Star enjoys travelling and spending time with her family and friends.
